Nothing sucks more than moving into a 2nd story condo. I had an old foam hybrid bed from Allswell that needed to be taken behind the barn... and rather than haul our shitty mattress upstairs to our new home, I decided to bite the bullet and buy new. Someone on reddit recommended Boring, and the price point felt right for what i'd hope would be a high quality mattress.

I wasn't sure how the new bed would compare, and being in the middle of moving, i wouldn't have a lot of time to deal with a return if it didnt work out. Got the Boring mattress, set it up, and got some of the best sleep i've had in years on night 1.

About the mattress – love the surface, feels cool to the touch and good airflow. The edges hold their shape way better than most foam/hybrids. Somewhere in between firm and soft, I usually need to buy a mattress foam topper to sleep well, but this mattress doesn't need it, firmness felt great on it right out of the box. Over the past couple of weeks it has only gotten more comfortable and I look forward to it each night.

Couldn't be happier with the product, customer service is peak, the emails and messaging are thoughtful and feel personal. This company really cares about the people who buy from them. Glad to support them as an AZ native as well. Thanks, Boring, you knocked it out of the park.

I was in the market for a good price on a mattress and Boring delivered (literally). Having slept on it for about a month, I am pleased with the quality of sleep.

I was hunting for mattresses for a couple months before settling on the Boring Mattress. I liked their no nonsense branding and their amazing sleep trial. I also snagged it during the Labor Day sale for a discount and free boring care for I think, what, 3 years?

Unboxing was easy. It was heavy but that’s to be expected. There was basically no off gassing smell. Whatever smell was there was gone in 4 hours and I slept on it the first night. Super supportive and a great fit for those who love a firmer mattress. It was good, but I felt, perhaps I needed a little bit more cushion. Once paired with their boring topper, (which their amazing customer service worked with me on), the bed became a dream. No back pain upon waking up, like a comfortable supportive nest. I was in heaven and had an amazing sleep.

It doesn’t sleep hot for foam, and there’s almost no motion transfer (I still co-sleep with my 3 year old). AMAZING. I woke up feeling so refreshed and “straight”? It’s helping my spinal alignment AND it’s a comfortable cushiony feeling with the topper. I’m so pleased.

All my Quince bed sheets and the mattress protector have fit perfectly with this mattress and I bought a KD frames frame for it. All working out perfectly. I haven’t been this satisfied with a purchase in a long time. 10/10 would recommend and now my mother is saving up for her own mattress after laying on mine.

For reference I am 5’6 and 145 lb. This may be why I needed the topper for perfect comfort. I think a heavier person would sink into the bed itself a little more.

For me, it feels better than the $1,800+ mattresses they would sell you at corporate mattress stores.
Interested to see longevity, but build quality and materials seem very good especially considering price point.

We were skeptical at first but are so so happy with our purchase! It's only been a few weeks but so far so good. We'd been putting off getting a mattress because all of the options were a bit overwhelming- very happy that my husband stumbled on Boring! Also customer service was great!
