I bought the Boring full Hybrid to replace a 7-year old 2018 Casper after having a couple years of restless sleep due to hip and shoulder pain as a side sleeper. I'd added the Target Casaluna 3" Serene Foam topper for the last year with the Casper to see if it would make a difference. Nope.

I'd tried and returned another Casper a year ago, and was discouraged about finding a company with a great product I could trust. After a year of deep research, I kept seeing Boring Mattress mentioned, so I went for it and have had this mattress for about 10 days. The business philosophy, integrity, transparency and responsiveness of the Boring team got my attention. They really stand out in the mattress world.

Received the Hybrid in early afternoon and slept on it that night. There was a slight odor, and I'm sensitive, but it didn't bother me at all and had to put my nose right on the mattress to smell anything. Maybe the difference is to buy at a time of year one can keep the windows open.

Waking up after the first night, I got out of bed and said, "Wow!" No hip, back or shoulder pain. Next thought was, "Why did I wait so long?"

I've now re-added the Casaluna topper to the Hybrid, and that's even nicer as a side sleeper, but was more than comfortable without it. When this topper needs replacing, I'll probably get the 2" Boring topper.

For me this mattress is a keeper, but you can't beat a 365-day return policy. My word, this whole experience checked all my boxes. Thanks Boring and keep up the good work.

I have been sleeping on the hybrid mattress for several weeks now, and I can confidently say that it is a well-built mattress. The top layer of foam is excellent, as it really does a great job with the feel of memory foam without the "sunk in" feeling. The side walls of the mattress are also quite strong.

With that said, I have woken up several times with pain in my shoulders and hips. Their return policy seems to be excellent, so I am deciding on whether to return it and purchase a softer mattress from another company. The potential for sore hips and shoulders is something to be aware of if you are a side sleeper.

The moment I laid down on our new Boring Mattress, I was impressed. It is the "goldilocks" of comfort and support. So many foam mattresses feel like you "sink" in, producing hot nights and morning stiffness. This one was different. I can honestly say this was the first night I woke up without a stiff neck or back in a long time. We will be investing in more of these in the future.

Boring AF Mattress is an affordable semi firm mattress for my old body.
Even more comfortable than I expected. The quality is more than expected. My joints feel better also. I highly recommend!
