    Our mattresses are designed to work with a variety of foundations, but for the best sleep experience, we generally recommend a solid, supportive base with slats no more than 5 inches apart. Here are a few options:

    • Platform Bed: A solid, flat surface with slats provides excellent support and doesn’t require a box spring.
    • Adjustable Base: Our mattresses are compatible with most adjustable bases, which can offer added comfort for those who prefer a customizable sleep position.
    • Box Spring: If you prefer a traditional box spring, especially for added height, just ensure it’s in good condition and offers stable support.

    Super comfortable and a great value

    I was looking to replace an original Tuft and Needle when I found this company, started by one of the Tuft and Needle founders. Tried a queen Boring mattress, loved it, and ended up buying a second. It's more comfortable, supportive, and breathable than my old T&N. To anyone looking to replace a T&N and avoid all of the sketchy mattress marketing hype: you've come to the right place.

    Finally found a WINNER!

    I have been through many mattresses in the last 10 years. First tried a memory foam beast that was like a brick. No good. Then I thought I had found the promised land with a Purple. Nope. It sagged and hurt my back. Then I tried a Sleep Number that cost thousands of dollars. Yes, *thousands*. That glorified air mattress also hurt my back, but also my neck, and it was ridiculously hot. I shopped online, read numerous reviews, got overwhelmed, and then happened upon a sponsored ad for Boring on my Instagram feed. At first I figured it was going to be a total ripoff but took a chance after seeing lots of positives. Hello?!?! Boring, where have you been all my life?!?! Who knew that the modestly priced Boring Hybrid would blow both Purple and Sleep Number outta the water?!? I've had mine for 3 weeks now and I have been sleeping so well. Like I haven't slept in years. And I don't hurt. And it didn't break that bank. Thank you, Boring!

    Boring but perfect

    Great value! I bought the hybrid queen. I went to a mattress store and tried a bunch of hybrid bed in box style mattresses. I realized that most of these mattresses feel similar. It's just the Boring mattress is about 600 dollars cheaper... I am happy to report the Boring Hybrid is just as comfy or even more comfy than similar Casper, Bear, or Helix mattresses. My old lumpy mattress was giving me back issues. This new mattress has made my back so much better. I am a side sleeper and this mattress offers great support. I recommend Boring mattresses to my friends because you can't beat the quality for the price.

    Very Happy With This Bed

    I was a little hesitant to mail order a new mattress, but since I didn't have the best luck getting them in person I called Boring after seeing one of the mattresses getting high marks from a website that reviews nothing but mattresses.

    Their salesperson was very informative. They even had a theory when I told them how I got TWO bad Tempur-Pedic in a row (likely a bad batch of foam).

    The mattress I got IMMEDIATELY puffed up upon puncturing the bag, so watch out for that. Otherwise, I've been sleeping comfortably. Lives up to its name as Boring AF; I don't got anything else to say.
